The sounds of Australia’s leading Jazz musicians fill the air as the soundtrack for Sunday afternoon on Cockatoo Island from 1pm-7pm. The billing order features an incredibly talented line up for your aural pleasure, including Emma Louise Birdsall from the blockbuster hit show "The Voice", the ever charismatic Baby et Lulu, the Jonathan Zwartz Quartet and The Air Benders.

Twenty year old Emma-Louise Birdsall is a recognizable name, face and voice from the hit TV series "The Voice". Growing up, Emma was a closet singer who only really sang at church. Now she has shot to fame as a finalist on "The Voice" and presents her signature sound on Cockatoo Island.

Sit back and relax as Baby et Lulu take you on a sassy and romantic romp through Paris, full of their signature swinging joie de vivre. A charismatic partnership between Abby Dobson (Leonardo’s Bride) and Lara Goodrige, along with an allstar band of Sydney’s finest musos, Baby et Lulu promise to delight and enchant!

Jonathan Zwartz is one of Australia’s leading Jazz musicians, playing with the likes of Katie Noonan, Renee Geyer, Vince Jones and James Morrison and American jazz artists Pharoah Sanders, Branford Marsalis and Chico Freedman. Jonathan Zwartz is not only a musician, but also a filmmaker, having co-produced a 10 part documentary series on Jazz in Australia entitled "The Pulse", screening on ABCTV.

The Air Benders is the brainchild of Adelaide’s Mike Stewart and Paul White, musicians steeped in the jazz and blues tradition who both share the writing for the band. With Mike and Paul at the helm of the group, a number of drummers and guitarists have filled out the band, including Ben Riley, James Muller and Dave Innocenti. The band released their self-titled album last year.
